2017 - Death Valley - Mesquite Dunes
While camping at Stovepipe Wells, Jen and I experienced an intense sandstorm, unusually fierce even by Death Valley standards, with gusts in the 100 km/hr range. We ventured into Mesquite Sand Dunes to get a real desert experience, and rose before dawn the next day to make first tracks. What a photogenic wonderland!
